1. Check you live in our parish. (ParishFinder). If you do



2. Contact the Parish Office on 01344 867383 or by email

3. If you do not live in our parish but have a strong link with our churches, such as previous children baptised in the church or parents married in the church then call the parish office.*



4. One of the Church's Baptism Visitors will contact you by telephone to make an appointment to come to meet you. They will discuss baptism with you to check it is the right step for you and your family



5. You will receive a Baptism Pack and an application form which you can fill in and give to your baptism Visitor.



6. You will then be invited to Attend the next baptism preparation evening - your Baptism Visitor will give you the date.  The evenings are usually held at

   St Paul's Church
   Lowbury
   Harman's Water
   RG12 9LP

At this meeting there will be a presentation to discuss the meaning of baptism.  Please invite godparents to attend, if they can come, but if the baptism candidate is a young child they need not attend.

Finally, at the end of the evening you can arrange a date for your child's service.

*If you do not live in the parish and have no strong link with one of our churches but still would like a Baptism Service in one of our churches then contact the parish Office and ask to speak to one of the clergy
